Alexavi greatly values the privacy of customers and all persons from whom personal information is collected by or shared with Alexavi. To transparently demonstrate Alexavi’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of security and privacy for our clients and visitors to our Site, we outline our Privacy Policy herein.
Alexavi standards for privacy protection are set forth to be in accordance with Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) privacy regulations globally, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), local state regulations and the privacy and confidentiality requirements of International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP). To monitor, review, and support adherence to the Alexavi Privacy Policy, we have established an internal Security Team, dedicated to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Security and Privacy Policies to best protect personal information.
1.1 CONDITIONAL USE OF THIS SITE
An individual’s access to and use of the Site and its contents are subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and all applicable laws. By accessing and using the Site, Site users accept and agree to these terms and conditions without any limitation or qualification. This applies to patients, healthcare professionals, customers, suppliers, vendors, business partners, and all other persons from which personal information is collected. Alexavi takes the stance of minimizing unnecessary collection and sharing of any personal information.
1.3 CLINICAL/MEDICAL AND HEALTH PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION
All medical information collected from patients or shared with Alexavi by medical professionals, or investigators, is performed under the contract. Alexavi considers the entity generating protected healthcare information to be ultimately responsible for how healthcare information is shared and processed. Data may be transferred to sponsors of clinical trials, investigators of clinical trials, other contracted organizations. All data collected by Alexavi is processed in accordance with Global Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and GCP. Moreover, whenever possible patient data will be de-identified.
Alexavi may obtain and analyse professional information from health care professionals for the purpose of assisting with identification and evaluation of investigators. Alexavi may use contact information for the purpose of inviting investigators to communicate with sponsors and participate in research. We will use public sources, internal databases, and referrals to obtain information. Financial information for payment of services may also be processed.
Alexavi utilizes surveys to collect information on patients that are currently enrolled in, or have completed, clinical trials or expanded access programs (EAPs). From these surveys, Alexavi may generate protected information that includes, but is not limited to, names, emails, clinical diagnoses, and IP addresses. Alexavi only uses qualified survey providers, with GDPR and HIPAA compliant security measures. All data generated from the surveys is stored in a password protected and encrypted fashion. Data is only sent out to third parties as required for data analysis, and data is de-identified prior to being sent out unless specific permission to share PHI is granted by the patient or guardian. All survey patrons receive and sign an informed consent prior to beginning the survey.
1.4 EMPLOYEE DATA
Alexavi collects personal information from its employees. This information may include but is not limited to, contact details, professional qualifications, employment history, background checks, payroll, tax information, and other human resource data. This is performed in accordance with standard business operations. Alexavi policy is not to share or sell employee information without specific permission being granted.

The affiliates with whom data may be shared include sponsors of clinical trials, investigators of clinical trials, business associates, and other third parties.
Access to information is restricted to appropriate staff, both internally and externally. Alexavi does not sell or trade personal information. Alexavi will divulge information only to appropriate persons as required by law enforcement or judicial authorities as part of an investigation. Alexavi may share information with a buyer in the instance of a sale or transfer of Alexavi or its assets.
Companies working as agents of Alexavi are required to sign a confidentiality agreement, in which they commit to only process personal information for agreed upon purposes, and must adhere to organizational and security safeguards.
Alexavi is a provider of consultng and product development services globally and may share information across international borders. Alexavi performs international sharing and hosting of data in accordance with appropriate regulatory processes were legally mandated.
Any data stored in a third country is held with a reputable global data storage provider in accordance with globally recognised privacy standards.
1.7 NOTICE
When Alexavi is the source of data collection, we will provide notice to individuals from which information is gathered, in clear language, and the available options for data processing and handling. Individuals are also informed of their rights under this Privacy Policy and provided contact information if they have any complaints or further questions. Alexavi maintains an obligation to be transparent and clear, as required by relevant data privacy laws. Notice may be given in person, by email, telephone, or through the inclusion of information on the Alexavi Site.
When appropriate, Alexavi will obtain consent to collect, use, and disclose information as required by law or to remain compliant with GCP.

1.9 DATA INTEGRITY AND USAGE
Alexavi takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
